Any excuse to pack up the pup and embark on a road trip to somewhere new? We’ll take it.
Chad and I were fortunate to have such a blast exploring downtown Annapolis, Maryland (our first time there!) with our lovely photographer (and now our friend for life), Victoria @ Victoria Selman Photography.
I’ll lead you to check out her full post here, but below is one of my favorite photos from the little adventure! Our sweet Chase is such a ham.
Thank you Victoria for a fun day, lots of laughs, and most importantly – beautiful photos that we’ll treasure for a lifetime.
12 minutes in, and I’m already way inspired by “Run to Overcome” by Meb Keflezighi, elite marathoner, Eritrean-American, and all around game-changer. If you’re running and looking for some motivation, want to learn more about running, or just get inspired by the stories of how Meb overcame difficult trials in life – give it a read! (Or in my case, a listen).
I can’t wait to run the San Diego Rock & Roll Marathon in just over a month with* Meb! It’s going to be tough to stop listening to his powerful words and heart for running today.
* Same race, but 3 hours and 30,000 people behind him.
I love this article from Delaware Online. Now, “love” might seem like a strong word to describe my feelings towards an article about suicide, but I love it because it matters, and I love it because real change is happening.
I believe that real joy comes from taking a heartbreak and turning it into a purpose. I’m so inspired by Cyndi’s story about her son, and her ability to overcome unimaginable loss and turn it into a beautiful passion. Take a read, and let me know your thoughts.
